Breaking in my Son's new grill...👍

This wasn't the first cook on it but the best so far.

My son has hired a guy to remodel his small backyard area for grilling and entertaining. He lives 2 blocks from the beach in Hermosa Beach, Ca in a 4000 sq. ft. house that has a California style backyard... About 20' X 30'. Not only did he put in a nice gasser, refrigerator, a warmer drawer plus a storage area. Get this... The guy poured a concrete sectional.😆 yes a concrete sectional!!! I spent 40 years in the furniture industry selling sofa's and I'd never heard of a concrete sectional before. I'll post a picture of that when its all done.

Tonight we grilled USDA Prime Ribeye cap's that were tied together with butcher's twine to make them into round steak shapes. We dry brined them overnight and did a gasser reverse sear. All turned out really nicely.👍

The sectional is done and they've supplied the main upholstered cushions. However the trim pillows that will add the depth and character to the look and style of the sectional have not yet arrived...(That's my former furniture guy rap coming out.😆) I'll post a picture when it's all complete.
